That’s exactly where today’s guest, Andrew Dewar, found himself. Andrew is a CPA and self-proclaimed skeptic turned life coach. Together with his partner, Catherine Collins, he co-founded the coaching program Five Year You. Andrew’s story is a testament to the transformative power of confronting the past.

Andrew had checked all the boxes: financial freedom, a successful career, and all the trappings of what society often considers the “ideal life.” He’d even paid off his mortgage in 6 years. Yet, despite achieving those goals, he felt empty and unfulfilled. Everything changed after a hockey accident that not only left him physically injured but also opened the door to a profound emotional reckoning. What followed was a journey of self-discovery and healing, as Andrew began to confront emotional baggage he had carried for years—including trauma from growing up with a sister who faced severe autism and the ripple effects it had on him.

In our conversation, Andrew opens up about his experiences with EMDR therapy and alternative healing methods like Reiki and Theta Healing. He shares how those tools helped him address his past.
